Carl Abou Samah, better known by his stage name Karl Wolf, is a Lebanese Canadian musician based in Montreal, Canada. He has been a singer, songwriter and producer since 2001, releasing his first solo album Face Behind the Face on MapleNationwide / Universal in January 2006, followed by a second album Bite the Bullet in November 2007. His third album Nightlife is to be released by end of 2009, although it has been pre-released for the Japanese market.

Co-escribió dos sencillos para el exitoso álbum de Grabrielle Destroismaisons que alcanzaron el No.1 en BDS Francophone Charts, ganando un Premio Félix en la categoría L 'ADISQ Awards por "Mejor Mezcla de Sonido y del Año". Su trabajo también atrajo la atención de Antoine Sicotte de una banda de pop canadiense, cooperando juntos en un reality show de TV; cuyo álbum fue el más vendido del 2003 en el respectivo país. Su segundo trabajo fue Bite the Bullet en 2007 sacó a la luz Africa, su primer sencillo de éxito mundial, un remake que llevó directo al No.1, con importantes descargas digitales y la entrada en la lista de los 100 más vendidos de Japón. El segundo Carrera tuvo una repercusión menor. Fue el que realizó el acto de apertura de MTV Arabia junto a Akon, Ludacris y Desert Heat y su videoclip el primero en estrenarse. En el 2008 fue lanzado su disco Nightlife exclusivamente para Japón.
