KaS Product is a French electronic duo. Their music has been considered part of the French coldwave and electro punk movements. Formed in 1980, the duo consists of Spatsz on electronics and rhythm machines with Mona Soyoc on guitar, vocals and piano. Spatsz worked at a psychiatric hospital previously while Mona worked with a jazz band before meeting Spatsz. Their music is done in a similar minimal electronics and vocal style akin to Suicide and Soft Cell.

Try Out was re-released with five bonus tracks: "Mind", "Seven", "Doctor Insane", "In Need", and "Malena". By Pass was re-released with four bonus tracks: "Scape", "Sweet & Sour", "Crash" and "Party". All of the tracks on both CDs have been remastered.
- Kas Product est un groupe de New wave français originaire de Nancy, formé en janvier 1980 par Mona Soyoc et Spatsz. Après la sortie d'un 45T, Mind, et d'un maxi 45T, Play Loud, le groupe fait la première partie de Marquis de Sade en 1981. C'est à cette occasion qu'ils sont remarqués par EMI et signent sur cette major. De leur premier 33T Try Out, sorti en février 1982, jaillit une musique novatrice, synthétisant l'énergie punk, l'obsédant minimalisme électronique, les climats jazzy inquiétants et les ambiances envoûtantes de la cold wave (comme celles de Siouxsie and the Banshees). L'album, salué par la critique, donne l'occasion d'une tournée internationale. Le public se reconnait dans ces sensations et émotions nouvelles. En 1983 sort un second album, By Pass, tout aussi essentiel et incontournable, mais aux effets encore plus recherchés. Trop pour séduire un public plus large qu'EMI semble souhaiter. L'album Ego Eye sort en 1986 sur un label plus discret. Le groupe se sépare en 1988. A l'occasion de la ressortie en CD des deux premiers albums par Les Disques du Soleil et de l'Acier en 2005, le groupe se reforme pour un concert mémorable le 2 juillet 2005 aux Eurockéennes de Belfort. Leur contribution à la musique rock, inégalée sur de nombreux aspects, est considérable. Ils restent une référence majeure de la scène musicale hexagonale. En 2008, Mona Soyoc s'invite sur le titre Money, une reprise de The Flying Lizards qui sort sur le second album du groupe nancéien Variety Lab et intitulé Teamp Up! (sortie prévue le 16 février 2009).
