The station's powerful signal can easily be heard all over the Bay Area and covers areas as far north as Santa Rosa, as far east as Concord and the Livermore Valley, and as far south as the Santa Cruz Mountains and, reputedly, the Salinas Valley. There is some difficulty reaching the signal from the city of Fairfield and areas North of Concord due to the topography of those areas.
