The only remaining live on-air personalities on KCSN's main FM signal are volunteers who broadcast specialty programming on weekends. On June 1st, 2011, the station announced the arrival of new program director, Sky Daniels, who programmed KMET during the final days before it went off the air. Three new DJs were introduced on July 15, 2011. They are: Jim Nelson (Monday to Saturday mornings), Meishel (weekday middays) and Sky Daniels (weekday afternoons). On July 16, 2011, KCSN became the new radio home of Nic Harcourt and his new radio program, Connections with Nic Harcourt, which airs Saturday afternoons from 3 p.m. to 6 p.m. Students produce six minute morning news segments that air at 6:30 and 7:30 and three minute segments at 7 and 8. A nightly half hour news program called the "Evening Update" airs at 6. These news programs are heard only on the secondary HD2 channel. KCSN's studios are located in the University Park Apartments on the CSUN campus. The station can be heard across the San Fernando Valley, the Santa Clarita Valley and via a booster, in the West Los Angeles area.
