Wilson in 1969. Wilson sold to Pete C. Rodriguez in 1978. Rodriguez sold to Paulino Bernal in 1990. Because it shares the same frequency as "clear channel" station WCKY in Cincinnati, Ohio, KCLR operates only during the Daytime hours. It is because of the placement on a "Clear" channel that the station sought the K-CLeaR KCLR letters.
