Smith was nominated for Best Actor in a Musical at the Sydney Theatre Awards; he was pipped-at-the-post by his 4 pint-sized co-stars Rhys Kosakowski, Lochlan Denholm, Rarmian Newton and Nick Twiney. Smith was nominated for an AFI award for his role in Bastard Boys. Justin is married to Aussie actress Sophie Gregg, and they have two children.
