This resulted in the re-branding of the stores with the current logo. As of early 2009, the Jumbo Video banner consists of 32 stores, some co-located with Microplay. The majority of locations are in Ontario (18), but the highest per-capita concentration is in Newfoundland and Labrador (7 locations). The chain's previous parent company, Jumbo Entertainment Inc. , has been restructured and renamed West 49 Inc. following a "reverse takeover" by the clothing retailer.
