Chapman received a Lifetime Achievement Award from the Desert Theatre League (DTL) on Sunday, November 20, 2005, at the DTL's 18th "Desert Stars Awards" Ceremony held at the Riviera Resort in Palm Springs, California. Chapman was a guest actress on two episodes of Magnum, P.I. - "The Black Orchid" from season 1 and "The Woman on the Beach" from season 2. An unofficial online poll of the series' fans' favorite episodes ranked these episodes at #27 and #23, respectively, as of January 2008. She also guest starred on Murder, She Wrote.
