The founder and editor of the journal since its inception is Patricia W. Romero of Towson University. JCCH is not published in print like traditional academic journals. It is available exclusively as an Internet publication with an electronic ISSN of 1532-5768. It is published three times each year in April, August, and December. It is indexed or abstracted in, Current Abstracts, Historical Abstracts, MLA International Bibliography and ProQuest Central.
