He made his major league pitching debut on September 2, 2001. He was traded to the Pittsburgh Pirates in December of that year for pitcher Todd Ritchie. He signed with the Colorado Rockies prior to the 2006 season. His nickname is the "Dragon Slayer". All three Mariners who reached base were erased on double plays by infielders Garrett Atkins, Clint Barmes, Jamey Carroll, and Todd Helton. Fogg started Game 3 of the 2007 World Series against the Boston Red Sox. On February 21, 2008, Fogg signed a one-year deal with the Cincinnati Reds. He returned to the Rockies after one season with the Reds, signing a minor league contract that includes an invitation to spring training. On January 29, 2010, Fogg signed a minor league contract with the New York Mets with an invite to spring training. He was released on March 20.
