Jorge Alfaro was one of the soloists of the dance group Guaracheros de Regla. Alfaro was also a well-known choreographer of Quinceañeras in Havana. Considered to be among the top dancers of the 1960s, his reputation as a dancer was on a par with that of Vacallao from Orquesta Aragón and Castellanos, Beny Morés famous son. He started his dancing career in San Miguel and Jacomino, then went to Regla where he joined the Guaracheros de Regla.
