  • Jonny Lee Miller ist ein britischer Schauspieler. Miller ist Enkelsohn des Filmschauspielers Bernard Lee, der in den ersten elf James-Bond-Filmen die Rolle des „M“ spielte. Sein Vater Alan Miller war in den 1950er- und 1960er-Jahren ein Theaterschauspieler. Nachdem Miller in mehreren Theaterstücken in der Tiffin Boy's Grammar School mitgespielt hatte, brach er die Schule mit 17 Jahren ab um sich ganz dem Schauspielern widmen zu können. Miller spielte in dem Film Hackers – Im Netz des FBI (1995) neben Angelina Jolie, in dem Film Trainspotting – Neue Helden (1996) neben Ewan McGregor und in Liebesflüstern (1997) neben Nick Nolte und Julie Christie. Außerdem war er in einigen BBC-Fernsehsendungen zu sehen. Inzwischen tritt er hauptsächlich als Bühnenschauspieler an Londoner Theatern auf und dreht nur noch vereinzelt Spielfilme. Von 2008 bis 2009 spielte er in der US-amerikanischen Fernsehserie Eli Stone die Titelrolle eines Anwalts in San Francisco, der plötzlich Musik hört und Visionen hat, die sonst niemand wahrnimmt, die aber sein eigenes Leben beruflich und privat unabsehbar auf neue Bahnen lenken. Von 1996 bis 1999 war Miller mit Angelina Jolie verheiratet. Zusammen mit Jude Law und Ewan McGregor, mit denen er auch das Produktionsunternehmen Natural Nylon gründete, lebte er längere Zeit im Londoner Stadtteil Primrose Hill.
