John Wall (1620–1679) was a Catholic martyr and saint. He was born in Preston, Lancashire, entered the English College, Douai (in modern-day northern France) in 1641, and was ordained a priest in 1645. He remained Master of the Novices until 1656, when he moved to back to England in Worcestershire. Here he became a Governor of the Royal Grammar School Worcester. In 1678, he was apprehended and sent to the Worcester jail. His trial was on April 25.
