He is currently working on assembling collections by Richard B. Gamon, Uel Key and Daniel F. Galouye for publication by Darkside Press and Midnight House. He is also the editor of several "new fiction" anthologies, including Darkside: Horror for the Next Millennium, The Devil Is Not Mocked, The Last Continent: New Tales of Zothique, The Children of Cthulhu and the Bram Stoker Award-winning The Darker Side. Pelan's short stories have appeared in The Urbanite, Gothic. net, Enigmatic Tales, Carpe Noctem and Horrorfind. com. A collection of Pelan's ghost fiction, titled Darkness, My Old Friend, is forthcoming from Ash-Tree Press. His first novella, the Lovecraftian work The Colour Out of Darkness, was published by Cemetery Dance Publications, and he has a second novella, Breaking the Lines, currently in the works.
