John Jones Jenkins, 1st Baron Glantawe (10 May 1835 - 27 July 1915) was a Welsh tin-plate manufacturer and Liberal politician. Jenkins was the son of Jenkin Jenkins of Morriston, Glamorgan and his wife Sarah Jones. He was co-founder and manager of the Beafort Tinplate Works at Morriston in 1859. He was also with the Upper Forest Tinplate Works. He was J.P. for Swansea and Carmarthenshire and was Mayor of Swansea three times, in 1869, 1879 and 1880. In 1881 he was knighted.

Jenkins stood unsuccessfully for parliament at Carmarthen in 1880, but was elected Member of Parliament for the constituency in a by- election in 1882 and held the seat until 1886. In 1889 he was High Sheriff of Glamorgan. He was elected for Carmarthen again in 1895 and held the seat until 1900. He was created 1st Baron Glantawe, of Swansea, co. Glamorgan on 18 July 1906. On his death, his title became extinct. Jenkins died at The Grange, Swansea, Glamorgan, at the age of 80 and was buried at Oystermouth, Glamorgan, Wales Jenkins married, firstly, Margaret Rees, daughter of Josiah Rees, on 20 January 1854 at Swansea. He married, secondly, Catherine Daniel, daughter of Edward Daniel, on 10 May 1864 at Llansamlet, Glamorgan, He had two daughters by his second wife, but no male heir.
