Sir John Burgess Karslake was an English lawyer and politician. He was appointed a barrister of the Middle Temple in 1846, and a Queen's Counsel in 1861. He held office as Solicitor General for England and Wales in 1866-67 and as Attorney General for England and Wales from 1867-8 and again in 1874. He was knighted in 1866 and appointed a Privy Counsellor in 1876. He was a member of the Judicature Commission. Between 1867 and 1868 he was a Conservative Party Member of Parliament for Andover.
