Jožef Jakob Tominc, also known as Josip Tominc (6 July 1780 – 22 April 1866) was a Slovene-Italian painter. In Italian, his name is rendered Giuseppe Tominz. He was one of the most prominent Slovene portraitists of the Biedermeier period. He became renowned for his realistic portraits, and is considered one of the best Slovene portraitists of all time. He worked mostly in the Austrian Littoral, but also produced religious paintings in Carniola and in Croatia.
