James Henry Landis (born March 9, 1934 in Fresno, California) is a retired American baseball player. He was signed by the Chicago White Sox as an amateur free agent in 1952. and played for 8 years before being traded to Kansas City Athletics on January 20, 1965 where he played for one year. He then moved to the Cleveland Indians, Houston Astros, Detroit Tigers, and finally the Boston Red Sox .
