Jerry C. Minor (born 4 October 1969) is an American comedian and film actor. Minor was born in Memphis, Tennessee but grew up in Flint, Michigan. He started doing stand-up and writing/performing with sketch groups in Detroit before joining the Second City Detroit mainstage. After writing and performing in three revues, he joined the Second City Chicago for two shows and then one revue at the Second City Toronto.

Minor was a featured player on Saturday Night Live for one season, from 7 October 2000 through the season finale in 2001. He was dismissed along with Chris Parnell by Lorne Michaels during the summer before the 2001–02 season because Michaels wanted to hire four new cast members, but did not want to go over budget. Minor is also credited as a writer for SNL. Minor has appeared on several other American comedy series. He briefly appeared as a correspondent on The Daily Show in 2000. He had a recurring role as Officer Carter on Arrested Development (2003-2006). He was a recurring actor on HBO's sketch comedy series Mr. Show and the short lived Fox sketch comedy show, Cedric the Entertainer Presents. Minor was a regular on the HBO series Lucky Louie, on which he played main character Louie's neighbor. That show ended in September 2006. Most recently he was a main character on the ABC sitcom Carpoolers and a featured comedian on Lewis Black's Root of All Evil on Comedy Central. Minor had a small part in the 2003 movie Melvin Goes to Dinner.
