Johnathan Keith Gainer (born October 8, 1966 in Panama City, Florida) is a former Major League Baseball first baseman. He is an alumnus of the University of South Alabama. He is currently the hitting coach for the Visalia Oaks. Drafted by the San Diego Padres in the 24th round of the 1990 MLB amateur draft, Gainer would make his Major League Baseball debut with the Colorado Rockies on May 14, 1993, and appear in his final game on October 2, 1993.
