Lt Colonel Jaswant Singh Marwah (RD) is an Indian journalist and author, and the father of General Joginder Jaswant Singh; the first Sikh Chief of Army Staff of the Indian Army. In 1987 he was awarded the Journalism Award by the Indian Ministry of Communications. Lt Col Jaswant Singh Marwah has written and published nine books, with a new manuscript under print. All his published books have been sent to over 100 universities in India, and other educational establishments by the Government of India, Punjabi Academy and Hindi Academy.
