Jason Ross is an American writer. Since 2002 he has been a staff writer at The Daily Show With Jon Stewart, for which he has received four Primetime Emmy Awards and a 2004 Peabody Award. He attended the University of California, Santa Barbara, where he served as editor of the student newspaper, The Daily Nexus. He lives in Manhattan with his family. On November 13, 2007, Ross was the host of an internet news story which explained the reasons behind the WGA Strike.
