Since 2006 (as a producer/engineer/mixer), he has worked with The Virgins, David Bowie, The Bronx, The Soft Lightes, Country artist Sara Lee Guthrie, The Killers and others. He has also been credited with production and singing backups on The Killers 2007 album Sam's Town, as well as being drum and guitar engineer for the Dixie Chicks.

Most recently between february-june of 2009, Hill toured with his band Louis XIV alongside The Killers throughout Europe and Australia. He is currently producing other acts, working on a new album outside of Louis XIV. Hill also maintains two recording studios and a record label, that goes by the name of the Pineapple Recording Group.
