James Warren was an American film actor and artist. Born in Marietta, Ohio, he worked as a magazine illustrator in New York City. It was at this time that an MGM talent scout saw him and offered him a contract. He appeared in many B-movie Westerns during the 1940s, and co-starred with Gloria Swanson in Three for Bedroom "C" (1952). After retiring from acting in the early 1950s, he devoted his time to painting. He died, aged 88, in Kihei, Hawaii.
