Dr. James Carmichael Renick is an American academic, and the former Chancellor of University of Michigan–Dearborn. Renick graduated from Central State University with his Bachelors degree in 1970. He would then go on to receive a Masters degree from Kansas University in 1972, and a Doctorate from Florida State University in 1980.
