- Brigáda Izz ad-Dín al-Kassáma pojmenovaná po šejchu Izz ad-Dín al-Kassámovi, je ozbrojené křídlo palestinské militantní fundamentalistické organizace Hamás. Brigáda vznikla v roce 1992, pod vedením Jahjá Ajjáše, hlavním cílem skupiny bylo vytvořit ucelenou vojenskou organizaci na podporu cílů Hamásu. Od roku 1994 do roku 2000 brigáda Izz ad-Dín al-Kassáma provedla řadu teroristických útoků proti izraelským vojenským i civilním cílům. Im Juni 2006 waren die Qassam-Brigaden an der Gefangennahme des israelischen Soldaten Gilad Schalit beteiligt, die einen militärischen Konflikt mit Israel auslöste. Ihre Mitglieder nehmen regelmäßig an Demonstrationen teil, vorwiegend jedoch maskiert, sodass ihre Identität meist unbekannt bleibt.
