From a fair number of reviewers, this game has been considered one of the worst fighting games. However, unlike the PC version, there was a demo for the Sony PlayStation version, which featured four playable characters, Luthor, Stellerex, Reb Cloud, and Xenobia, and a different intro and Take-Two logo screen. A version for the Sega Saturn was also planned but was eventually cancelled.
