| - The International League of Religious Socialists is an umbrella organization of religious socialist movements in political parties throughout the world. Founded in the 1920s, it has member groups in 21 countries totalling 200,000 members. For most of its history it was mainly European and contained mainly Christian Socialist groups, but has recently expanded to the Americas, Africa and Australia and to include more groups with connections to other religions. It is an associate organisation of the Socialist International. - Internationalt forbund af religiøse socialister (eng. International League of Religious Socialists, ILRS), er et internationalt forbund af religiøse socialister, som grundlagdes i 1920erne. Deres medlemsantal nærmer sig 200 000 socialister med forskellige trosopfattelser i socialistiske, socialdemokratiske og arbejderpartier, nu over hela verlden, men i begyndelsen kun fra Europa. Der område er at arbejde for globalisering og menneskerettigheder, og modvirke marginalisering, religiøs fundamentalisme, og at religionen anvendes som et værktøj for politisk konservatisme. Vedtægtsdokumentet for deres demokratisyn antoges på en kongres i 2000, påvirket af Sustainable Democracy: Policy for Government by the People in the 21st Century, et skrift af det svenske Justitiedepartementet, den svenske regering . Seneste kongres blev afholdt i 2003 i Luzerne, Schweiz. Publicerer sit tidskrift Faith, der er en kvartalsvis. Deras medlemsantal uppgår till 200 000 socialister med olika trosuppfattningar i socialistiska, socialdemokratiska, och arbetarpartier, numer över hela världen, men ursprungligen endast från Europa. Deras syfte är att verka för globalisering och mänskliga rättigheter, och motverka marginalisering, religiös fundamentalism, och att religionen används som ett verktyg för politisk konservatism. Styrdokumentet för deras demokratisyn antogs på en kongress 2000, påverkad av Sustainable Democracy: Policy for Government by the People in the 21st Century, en skrift av Justitiedepartementet, svenska regeringen (SOU 2000:1).
