Ritenuto da molti il loro capolavoro, è considerato uno delle opere più rappresentative della scena di Canterbury e del rock progressivo in generale. Nel disco ci sono tracce leggere, melodiche e solari che incaranano lo spirito gioioso e scherzoso del gruppo, anche grazie ai testi bizzarri. Vengono utilizzati diversi strumenti tra cui il flauto e l'organo, sempre suonati con grande capacità dai vari membri. La title track è forse la canzone più nota del gruppo, ma quella più importante è la lunga suite "Nine Feet Underground", chiamata così perché fu composta in uno sgabuzzino sotterraneo da David Sinclair, fondando insieme tre canzoni. Nel 2001 è uscita la versione rimasterizzata contenente diverse tracce aggiuntive, in gran parte delle versioni di prova delle canzoni originali.
