Het lied maakte deel uit van de albums Shaday van 1988 en het album (Fifty gates of wisdom) Yemenite songs. De zangeres Madonna verwerkte de woorden van het gedicht in een van haar liederen, Isaac, op het album Confessions on a dancefloor.
