Ilias Iliou was Greek politician, member of the Greek Parliament and leader of the United Democratic Left (EDA). He studied Law in the University of Athens and in 1942 he became member of the Court of Cassation (Greece). He was elected MP with EDA in all the general elections from 1951 to 1968. After the fall of Military Junta he was elected again MP in 1974 with United Left and in 1977 with the Coalition of Left and Progressive Powers .
