  • 醍醐家（だいごけ）は、清華家の家格を有する公家。五摂家の一つ一条家の支流。 江戸時代前期一条昭良の二男・冬基を祖に創立された。家禄は、312石。家紋は下がり藤。 明治維新時の当主、忠順は維新後、大阪府知事などを歴任し、侯爵に列する。忠順の女、好子は賀陽宮邦憲王妃。 忠敬が、甥である格太郎に射殺されるというスキャンダルが発生し、忠順が再度家督を継ぐという事態により一時没落。 この事件は、格太郎の父忠告が忠敬の兄であり共に庶子でありながら病弱を理由として家督相続されず病没。金銭に困窮し、また弟賢次郎が華族待遇を受けられず軍夫として台湾に出兵し戦死したことによる度重なる恨みの末の犯行であった。犯行時には四条隆平男爵が醍醐家を訪問しており格太郎を捕らえるも、忠敬とその長女為子が犠牲となった。 昭和期の当主、忠重は、海軍に入り海軍中将にまで進み、侍従武官、第5潜水艦隊司令官、第6艦隊司令長官などを歴任するが、戦後、戦犯に指定される。昭和22年（1947年）オランダ軍によって銃殺された。 忠順の子・醍醐忠直は、式部官、掌典次長などを務めた。
