Ibom is one of the 19 towns of Arochukwu, Abia state in Southeastern Nigeria. After the Aro-Ibibio Wars, the Akpa mercenary army led by the Nnubi dynasty from the Calabar area settled in this town. Ibom is also where the famous Ibini Ukpabi oracle is located.
