Ian Gough (born 10 November 1976) is a Welsh rugby union footballer, currently playing for the Ospreys in the Celtic League. His usual position is at lock. He has also played for the Welsh national team, making his debut against South Africa in 1998, and has been a regular since, including playing in the 2006 Six Nations Championship, and the mid year series against Argentina. He also played within the Irish under-19 international team.

Im Anschluss wechselte er zum derzeit besten walisischen Team, den Ospreys. Unter dem neuen Trainer der Nationalmannschaft Warren Gatland gehört er weiterhin zum Stammpersonal. So war er ein wichtiger Faktor beim Grand-Slam-Gewinn bei den Six Nations 2008. Im entscheidenden Spiel gegen Frankreich kam er zu seinem 50. Einsatz für Wales.
