- اللغة الهاجونغية (بالهندية: हाजोंग)، (بالإنجليزية: Hajong language)، هي لغة هندوآرية مع احتمال وجود طبقة لغوية تحتيَّة فيها تعود للغة مُتَنَحِّيَة أو مَغلوبَةٍ وهي اللغة التبيتية البورمية. يتحدث بها ما يقرب من 80,000 من إثنيَّة الهاجونغ عبر الشمال الشرقي من شبه القارة الهندية، على وجه التحديد في الولايات التالية: آسام، وميغالايا، وأروناجل برديش، والبنغال الغربية في الهند الحالية، وأيضًا في الأقاليم التالية: ميمينسينغ وسيلهيت في بنغلاديش الحالية. وتُكتَب بالخط البنغالي الآسامي والكتابة اللاتينية. تشتمل على العديد من الألفاظ السنسكريتيَّة الدخيلة. لقد تحدث الهاجونغيون في الأصل اللغة التيبتوبورمان، لكنها اختلطت لاحقًا باللغتين الآسامية والبنغالية. - Hajong is an Indo-Aryan language with a possible Tibeto-Burman language substratum. It is spoken by approximately 80,000 ethnic Hajongs across the northeast of the Indian subcontinent, specifically in the states of Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh, and West Bengal in present-day India, and the divisions of Mymensingh and Sylhet in present-day Bangladesh. It is written in Bengali-Assamese script and Latin script. It has many Sanskrit loanwords. The Hajongs originally spoke a Tibeto-Burman language, but it later mixed with Assamese and Bengali. (en)
- A língua Hajong já foi considerada como um idioma Tibeto-Birmanês, porém, hoje é classificada como uma língua Indo-Ariana com raízes Tibeto Birmanesas. É falada por cerca de 155 mil étnicos nos estados indianos de Assam, Meghalaya, Arunachal Pradesh e Bengala Ocidental e também em Mymensingh, em Bangladesh. Suas escritas são a e Latina.
