Humberto Valentino Robinson was a pitcher with a five year career from 1955-1956, 1958-1960. He played for the Milwaukee Braves and Philadelphia Phillies both of the National League and the Cleveland Indians of the American League. He was the first Panamanian ever to play in the Major Leagues. He was born in Colon, Panama. Before debuting in Major League Baseball, Robinson set the South Atlantic League record with 23 wins. He is also notable for reporting a US$1500 offer to throw a game in 1959.
