Hotel Lights is an American indie band founded by songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Darren Jessee former drummer for Ben Folds Five. Hotel Lights' released their debut self-titled album independently in 2004. The album was officially released in 2006 on Bar None Records. Jessee had written many of the songs on the debut album while he was living in New York and touring with Ben Folds Five. Recorded at Sound of Music studios with guitarist and producer Alan Weatherhead of Sparklehorse.
