Reinheitsproben des Bundeskriminalamtes ergaben THC Gehalte von 5-41%. Es unterliegt in Deutschland dem Betäubungsmittelgesetz und der Besitz kleiner Mengen wird auch in den Niederlanden strafrechtlich verfolgt. Neben den anderen Cannabisprodukten spielt Haschischöl mengenmäßig nur eine untergeordnete Rolle.
