On February 16, 2007 they announced that they had stopped the band but would start a new project called The Future, who have also since split up. Former members Ryan Richards and Gav Burrough are both currently members of Funeral for a Friend, while Johnny Phillips, who drummed for a previous incarnation of Hondo Maclean named Mongrel, was a founding member of Funeral For A Friend before being replaced by Ryan.
