The history of the Jews in Turkey covers the 2,400 years that Jews have lived in what is now Turkey. There have been Jewish communities in Asia Minor since at least the 4th century BCE; and many Jews expelled from Spain, the Sephardic Jews, were welcomed to the Ottoman Empire, including regions part of modern Turkey, in the late 15th century. Despite emigration during the 20th century, modern day Turkey continues to have a small Jewish population.

- Türkische Juden sind in der Türkei lebende Menschen jüdischen Glaubens. Im weiteren Sinne bezeichnet diese Bezeichnung die Krimtschaken, Chasaren und Karäer. Die größte Gruppe unter den türkischen Juden bilden die Sepharden aus Spanien und Portugal. Auch gibt es in der Türkei Aschkenasen, die aus Mittel- und Osteuropa stammen, allerdings in weit geringerer Zahl. Dazu gibt es noch Nachkommen von Juden, die schon in der Antike und byzantinischer Zeit auf dem Gebiet der heutigen Türkei lebten. Es gibt die etwa hundertköpfige Gruppe der Karäer, welche die Autorität des Oberrabbiners nicht anerkennen. Die Zahl der heute noch in der Türkei lebenden Juden ist 26.000, vor der Gründung Israels 1948 waren es noch 120.000. Die in der Türkei lebenden Juden genießen Minderheitenrechte, die im Vertrag von Lausanne am 24. Juli 1923 definiert wurden.
