Hindoo (1878–1901) was an American thoroughbred race horse. A bay colt, Hindoo was sired by Virgil from the dam Florence. He was bred by Daniel Swigert of Elmendorf Farm and trained by future Hall of Famer Edward D. Brown. Sold during his two-year-old season to the Dwyer Brothers Stable of Mike and Phil Dwyer, Hindoo's training was taken over by another future Hall of Famer, James G. Rowe, Sr.. In thirty five starts, Hindoo was never out of the money.
