Henry Vane, 2nd Earl of Darlington was a British peer, the son of the 1st Earl of Darlington. He married Margaret Lowther, a daughter of Robert Lowther, the Governor of Barbados, on 19 March 1757 in London. They had three children: Lady Grace Vane (b. & d. 1757), died in infancy. Lady Elizabeth Vane (1759–1765), died younger. William Vane, 1st Duke of Cleveland (1766–1842) He was educated at Christ Church, Oxford and graduated with a MA on 3 July 1749.

Henry i Margaret mieli razem syna i dwie córki: Grace Vane Elisabeth Vane William Henry Vane, 3. hrabia Darlington i 1. książę Cleveland Darlington zmarł w wieku 66. lat i został pochowany w Raby Castle.
