- Brigadier-General Henry Trelawny, was a British Army officer of Cornish descent, the seventh and youngest son of Sir Jonathan Trelawny, 2nd Baronet and Mary Seymour. He married Rebecca Hals (Hales), by whom he had children, including: Sir Harry Trelawny, 5th Baronet (1687–1762), an aide-de-camp to the Duke of Marlborough and Member of Parliament Captain William Trelawny, married Mary Bisset and had issue In 1692, his brother Charles resigned the colonelcy of The Queen Consort's Regiment of Foot in protest over King William's supposed partiality to foreign officers, and Henry was appointed colonel. During his military career, Trelawny also served in Tangier and Flanders.
