Henry Carter Stuart (1855–1933) was a businessman and U.S. political figure from Virginia. He served as the Governor of Virginia between 1914 and 1918, which encompassed the time period of World War I. A graduate of Emory and Henry College, Stuart was a wealthy man as a result of taking over his father's diverse financial and agricultural interests. He was an active member of the Virginia Constitutional convention of 1901-1902 and served in the State Corporation Commission from 1902-1908.
