Il 2007 è un anno turbolento, se ne vanno in sequenza il batterista Gyldenøhr, il bassista Mikael Ehlert e il cantante Jacob Bredahl per problemi personali, la band, rinnovata per quattro quinti, è costretta quindi ad annullare il tour europeo di supporto a Dimmu Borgir ed Amon Amarth.

De mengeling van melodieën en agressie brachten hen al snel aan de top van de Deense metalscène. In 2002 brachten ze hun tweede studio-album "Bloodred Hatred". Dit album won de Deense metal award voor beste album. Na dit album tourden ze met o.a. The Haunted, Testament, Mnemic en Mastodon. Als deze tour gedaan was doken ze opnieuw de studio in om de mini cd "Something Old, Something New, Something Borrowed and Something Black" op te nemen. In 2003 kregen ze hun tweede grote prijs, namelijk die van beste live band. Hun derde album "Ballet Of The Brute" was nog agressiever dan voordien, maar de typische melodieën waren er nog wel steeds in verwerkt. Voor de daaropvolgende tour gingen ze mee met de thrash koningen van Exodus. Voor het uibrengen van het meesterwerk "The Sickness Within" werden ze genomineerd in 5 categorieën en wonnen ze de twee belangrijkste, album van het jaar en beste productie.
