Harry Shum (Heung-Yeung Shum) is a computer scientist known for his work on computer vision and computer graphics. He received his Ph.D. in robotics from the School of Computer Science at Carnegie Mellon University, USA. He joined Microsoft Research in Redmond, and then moved to Microsoft Research China when it was founded in 1998. In 2004, he became the Managing Director of Microsoft Research Asia.
