Gyldendal Norsk Forlag, in Norway commonly referred to as Gyldendal, is a Norwegian publishing house founded in 1925. It was established after a corporate demerger brought about when a group of Norwegian investors led by Harald Grieg "bought home" the works of The Four Greats and Knut Hamsun, which had previously been published by the Danish publishing house Gyldendal. The company published both fiction, non-fiction, school books and children books.
