Gǔlóu (鼓楼), the drum tower of Beijing, is situated at the northern end of the central axis of the Inner City to the north of Di’ anmen Street. Efter mycket reparationer på 1980-talet öppnades de båda tornen för turister och de är idag populära turistattraktioner. 1996 blev de kulturminnesmärkta av kinesiska staten.
