Un meccanismo analogo lo si può trovare anche nelle bottiglie, dove invece di esserci una sfera, è contenuto un piccolo oggetto a forma di "razzetto" con delle piccole eliche ai lati, in modo tale che la birra, fuoriuscendo dal collo della bottiglia, lo faccia roteare leggermente permettendo la formazione della classica schiuma corposa.
