Grzegorz Fitelberg (18 October 1879 – 10 June 1953) was a Polish conductor, violinist and composer. He was a member of the Młoda Polska group, together with artists such as Karol Szymanowski, Ludomir Różycki and Mieczysław Karłowicz. Fitelberg was born in Daugavpils, Latvia. In 1908 he conducted in the Warsaw Opera, in 1912 in the Vienna Opera. During the first war he collaborated with Ballets Russes; he conducted the first performance of Mavra of Igor Stravinsky.

Daneben unterrichtete er von 1927 bis 1930 Komposition am Warschauer Konservatorium. 1934 gründete er das Sinfonieorchester der Polnischen Rundfunks, das er bis 1939 leitete. Während des Zweiten Weltkriegs ging er zunächst nach Paris und dirigierte dann in der Saison 1940/1941 in Buenos Aires am Teatro Colón. Bis 1945 arbeitete er in den Vereinigten Staaten, danach kehrte er nach Europa zurück. 1946 gründete er in Kattowitz das Große Polnische Radiosinfonieorchester, mit dem er unter anderem die Uraufführung von Lutoslawskis Erster Sinfonie spielte. Von 1950 bis 1951 unterrichtete er außerdem an der Staatlichen Musikhochschule von Kattowitz. Fitelberg komponierte unter anderem zwei Sinfonien, drei sinfonische Dichtungen, zwei Ouvertüren, zwei Polnische Rhapsodien, ein Violinkonzert, zwei Violinsonaten und Lieder. Seit 1979 veranstaltet die Filharmonia Śląska in Kattowitz die alle vier Jahre stattfindende Grzegorz Fitelberg International Competition für junge Dirigenten.
